The Anima from Black Crows is a men's freeride ski in the Big Mountain range.
Its sidecuts have been lengthened at the ends to increase grip and stability at high speeds. Its flex has been merged to make skiing more comfortable. The Anima is equipped with a better weight distribution, with a stretched heel and an enlarged tip.
In terms of its construction, it remains unchanged. It remains a real freeride weapon, unafraid to show its dark side! It has a solid poplar core reinforced with carbon-kevlar strips. The brand has also opted for a short standard of camber to prioritise grip on hard snow while leaving maximum manoeuvrability. The result, incredible stability combined with a very playful, almost instinctive side to adapt to the infinite creativity of skiers.
Designed for dizzying slopes and forests filled with fresh snow, the Anima rests on a 115 mm wide waist and a double rocker with a large tip lift to ensure a big lift in powder snow and to allow easy gliding. Its flex is quite stiff but very progressive, to ensure good movement in soft snow and performance in hard snow.
The Anima by Black Crows is a more versatile model than its big brother the Nocta but its imposing size makes it an ideal model for advanced to expert skiers looking for a ski with character for all weather and that proves to be stable, playful and interesting on hard snow.

Weight: 4500 g per pair at 182 cm
Turn Radius: 19 m for all sizes
Rocker: double rocker (great manoeuvrability, control, pivot)
Core: poplar wood and fibreglass
Flex: progressive
Shape and construction:
- Semicap construction
- Tightened sidecuts (19 m radius): this construction offers more grip and stability at high speeds
- Progressive tip lift: allows for easy straightening and maximum control in turns
- Very progressive flex: the ski is stiffer underfoot for more grip and efficiency, especially in hard snow. The flex is softened in the tip and heel to allow good movement in soft snow, making skiing more comfortable.
- Short classic camber: classic underfoot camber with short ski-snow contact for increased manoeuvrability
