The Oblivion 84 is a men's freestyle ski from Head. Derived from the Caddy range, the Oblivion range follows the same guidelines but with more muscle.
The Oblivion 84, as the name suggests, has an 84mm waist, which makes it even more manoeuvrable than its big brother the Oblivion 94. You will have less lift in powder and therefore less possibility of backcountry freeride, but you will be able to send big rotations in the park more easily.
In order to cushion your landing (it happens, it doesn't matter), the Oblivion is built with the ISSshock absorber system, straight from outer space. Elastomer inserts are present in the tip, the waist and the tail to smooth out imperfections in the snow and to limit vibrations due to shocks.
As it is intended for intense use in the park, freeride or on rails, the Oblivion 84 is reinforced with Tuff Wall/base/Edge technology which strengthens the edges and thickens the edges and the base. This makes it virtually indestructible.
The PNP Rockerprofile with 70% camber and 30% rocker makes it easier to perform tricks. The generous rocker in the tip gives manoeuvrability for take-offs and landings in the park or for quick rotations on elements.
In short, the Oblivion 84 is a high-performance freestyle ski for creative riders who want to try new things and throw new rotations.

Side cuts: 120/84/109 in the 176cm model
Curve radius: 19m for the 176cm model
Shape:
- PNP Rocker: very slight lift in the tip and tail, with a classic camber under the waist. The PNP rocker offers the rider a smoother turn initiation and reduced edge contact for easy tricks and rotations. 30% rocker - 70% camber
Construction:
- Double tip sandwich construction: Head combine a vertically laminated wood core for durability with their super Independent Suspension System to minimise shock. To shine in half-pipe, the park or high mountains.
Technology:
- ISS - Independent Suspension System: elastomer vibration dampers located in the tip, tail and under the waist. Elastomers minimise the vibrations common with rocker skis. Under the waist, vibrations are reduced for a smoother glide.
- Tuff edge/base: impact resistant ABS edge. Designed to take a beating without losing its responsiveness. The thickened edges and soles make these models indestructible.
- UHM C base: extremely durable base material for great performance. Rudimentary but reliable and stable. The kind of base that lasts for years.
