The Obex backcountry helmet from POC has been specially designed to enhance the safety of skiers off the slopes. When there is an incident during a trip, the skier must be found quickly. Thanks to the NFC medical identification chip, rescuers can access your medical information as soon as they arrive, even if the victim is unconscious.
Its robust ABS and PC construction provides excellent shock resistance. The MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is designed to absorb the rotational force due to impact during a fall, considerably reducing its impact on the brain.
The helmet also has a Recco reflector to help search rescues.
An adjustable size system provides a perfect fit and support for the helmet and ensures that you are comfortable all day long.
Finally, adjustable ventilation slots are strategically placed on the front and top of the helmet, allowing you to manage ventilation according to the weather conditions.
