Let's start with the new features; first of all the most obvious: the shape. Although the latter is still a directional shape with a larger and slightly wider nose, the tail is now cut in half, a bit like a
This space tail does not reduce the effective edge length and allows you to push the board even harder to twist and make short, powerful turns.

Sidecut: 10 - 6.6 m in the 159cm model
Flex: 9/10, rigid.
Shape:
Directional Hybrid Camber: Long camber that extends beyond the feet for excellent responsiveness and edge grip and a big front rocker. This rocker is there for greater float and manoeuvrability on all snow conditions. The Split tail helps to push the heel into the powder for excellent manoeuvrability.
Tapered Linear Quadratic Sidecut: consists of a radius for easy nose carving, from the hook to the rear inserts and a long, perfectly straight line to the tail. The result is a considerable power gain at the end of a turn
Construction:
Performance™ Core: It is a very strong aspen core, combined with bamboo for its flex and paulownia for its light weight. A perfect blend of strength and lightness.
Double Impact Plates: 2 reinforcement plates superimposed and placed under each of the binding zones. Improves resistance when compressed and reduces the risk of breaking.
Carbon Infused Glass: carbon fibres placed perpendicular to the glass fibres. For an even more powerful pop, more responsiveness and without stiffening the board.
Base: Sintered in Ptex 4000, which is more durable, dense and resistant than an extruded base.
Technology:
Thin Con: all RIDE boards have a refined nose and tail. The aim is to reduce weight, facilitate the use of the ends and promote durability.
Carbon Slimewalls® : Slimewalls (urethane and all around the board) are combined with carbon and strategically placed. This way, the rider can put more pressure on the board to enjoy a tenfold pop. They improve the cushioning of the edges and sidewalls them more resistant.
Roll In Construction: 3D construction around Slimewall edges to increase rigidity, prevent the topsheet from disintegrating and reduce weight over the board.
Carbon Array 5: this technology allows the energy to be redistributed efficiently to the whole board, regardless of the stance of the bindings. 5 wide carbon strips extend from the binding area to the middle of the opposite rocker. Your heels are connected to your opposite edge (and so are your toes), which makes it much easier to control the board and switch between the edges.
