Splitboard - Unisex -
The Milligram Split from Amplid is a unisex splitboard for advanced to expert riders.
When it comes to lightweight splitboards, there's one name that comes up quite often and that's the Milligram. The Milligram has made a name for itself among all the splitboards offering technical features and lightness. So light it could almost fly away!
Weighing in at just 2.8kg for the 158 size, the board offers a weight that is nothing short of revolutionary for splitboarders. Its balsa, paulownia and birch core construction, combined with the Full Carbon Jacket holds the secret to its legendary lightness.
Its shape makes it easy to ride on the Big Mountain and for long rides. A freeride board with exemplary downhill performance, its exceptional reactivity, its explosive pop and its fluid and expressive flex make it a pleasure to enjoy every moment that will happily reward you for every metre climbed.
A low-viscosity epoxy resin from the aerospace industry ensures that every square centimetre of core and carbon fibre is thoroughly wetted during production for superior adhesion. The excess resin is ejected from the sandwich construction by the high-powered press. Fibreglass inserts have been placed in the critical areas to protect the topsheet of the board from impacts on the splitboard's bindings.
Like every splitboard Amplidthe Milligram comes pre-assembled with clips, small parts that firmly secure the two parts of the splitboard together for improved riding performance.

Camber:
Traction Camber : This is the best camber line for perfect uphill traction, distributing weight and power throughout the board. What's more, this camber line provides precise control in more difficult conditions and at higher speeds.
Shape :
Directional classic shape with a nose longer than the tail for lift in ungroomed snow. A directional shape is one in which the nose is wider than the tail, making it easier to enter and exit corners. Stability at high speed and improved flotation guaranteed.
Floatation Tips : The square nose increases the board's buoyancy in powder.
Core:
BBP Core : Ultra-light wood core made from paulownia, balsa and birch.
Full Carbon Jacket : Carbon layer for maximum core strength. Carbon fibre allows the use of thinner, almost weightless laminates to achieve the same flex profile. Boosts the board's capabilities.
Pre-cured Impact Plates : Core reinforcement at fastener inserts to limit impact caused by fasteners.
Topsheet :
Aero Epoxy double layer of fibreglass applied in both directions for a responsive, forgiving board.
Glass Impact Pads : Fibreglass reinforcement pads at fasteners. The angles of aluminum splitboard bindings can damage the topsheet of the board. Glass Impact Pads improves the durability of the board.
Nano Film : Topsheet reinforced in exposed areas with a thin polyamide layer.
Stratospheric Topsheet : Less heat, less sticky snow, less weight - thanks to a special heat-reflecting coating.
Sole:
Sintered 7 HD base premium wax-absorbing frit sole for unrivalled glide.
Bolted Tip Clips : Use of screws instead of rivets. Easier to change in case of breakage
Splitboard Tune : The edges are slightly rounded at the ends to make it easier to fit and remove skins.
Customs clips : The forged aluminium board hooks, designed in-house byAmplid's R&D team, provide a reliable yet weightless connection between board halves and have a matt black aesthetic.
HEXO2 LITE : Turn to win with effortless style. Amplid 's HEXO2-Lite replaces specific areas of heavier wood at the ends with recycled honeycomb paper, virtually eliminating the weight of the swing.
Quickdraw Pro 320 Probe: This revolutionary TPU material used on the inner side increases the cohesion of the board halves and eliminates annoying cracking noises when riding.
