Shape:
Tapered Bi-Radial Sidecut: allows a board with a wide waist to have a normal size nose and tail. This limits the leverage on landings, improves edge grip and stabilises the board.
Hybrid Camber: Camber that extends between the feet for excellent responsiveness and incisive edge grip. A rocker in the front for easy turn initiation in powder and a short tail for good manoeuvrability on all types of snow.
Construction:
WMNS Performance™ Core: Specially developed for young skiers. It is a very strong aspen core, combined with bamboo for its flex and paulownia for its light weight. A perfect blend of strength and lightness.
Single Impact Plates: reinforcement plate under each of the binding areas. Improves resistance when compressed and reduces the risk of breaking.
Fibreglass Hybrid Glass: Triaxial top layer for increased torsional strength and stiffness, ideal for high-speed control.
Sole: Sintered in Ptex 4000, which is more durable, dense, and resistant than an extruded base.
Technology:
Thin Con: all RIDE boards have a refined nose and tail. The aim is to reduce weight, facilitate the use of the ends and promote durability.
Slimewalls®: The board's edges are made of urethane (the same material used to make skateboard wheels) that cushions and smoothes out imperfections in the track, rails or modules. Theoretically unbreakable, these are the most resistant snowboard edges.
Roll In Construction: 3D construction around Slimewall edges to increase rigidity, prevent the topsheet from disintegrating and reduce weight over the board.
Carbon Array 3: this technology allows the energy to be redistributed efficiently to the whole board, regardless of the stance of the bindings. 3 wide carbon strips extend from the binding area to the middle of the opposite rocker. Your heels are connected to your opposite edge (and so are your toes), which makes it much easier to control the board and switch between the edges.
Cleave Edge™: Reinforced edges using 50% more steel for increased push and pull resistance.
Linear Carbon: two carbon strips placed along the entire effective edge length to add pop and responsiveness to the board.
2X4 Inserts: (system compatible with 2*4 and 4*4 bindings.
