Constantly developed for and by ski mountaineers who love competition, the Pierra Menta combines technical skills with climbing and excellent skiability on steep slopes.
Thanks to its ultra-light high-end construction, it has an incredible grip in hard snow thanks to the use of quality materials. The use of a new generation of carbon fibres in its structure makes it lively and its ultralight Dynacell core makes it three times lighter than a traditional wood core.
For competitors, every detail counts: Its record-breaking, 710 g per ski weight (for 160 cm), is the result of years of research. Its extreme torsional rigidity makes it an eye-catching ski on slopes, making it extremely easy to ascend, while retaining irreproachable stability on descents.
As with the previous season's model, there is a 65 mm waist, a light tip rocker, and a pronounced camber. These features enable Pierra Menta to offer an effective relaunch with each push. It is designed for the steepest climbs to go faster and higher, even creating its own trail.
On a steep slope, skiing is safe and moving from edge to edge is easy: When on the edges, Dynastar's M-Pierra Menta 2021 is very stable and consistent in turns mainly due to its stiff and consistent flex along the entire length of the ski.

Classic Camber TIP ROCKER: moderate tip rocker. It makes flat pivots easier, combining smooth turning with a high level of tolerance. The moderate profile means that the skis turn on the full length of their edges.

Sandwich: Modern sandwich construction with a wooden core, vertical edges, fiberglass as well as Titanal or carbon reinforcements: The wooden core gives the ski its character and the rectangular structure allows for a better distribution of flexibility.
