An elegant free carving board, the Lone Wolf has been designed by surfer and shaper Chris Christenson and pro-rider Jeremy Jones. The Lone Wolf combines the characteristics of a powder board with the soul of a freecarve snowboard. The Lone Wolf is definitely cut for long curves in fresh snow thanks to its long sidecut, 9.3m radius (in 168 cm)
The classic camber underfoot, 7/10 flex and waist width make this swallow tail a weapon of choice for aggressive riders who like to carve on packed snow. The Lone Wolf has a 100% bamboo core as well as bamboo strips positioned along the edges to give the board a responsive personality and powerful turns.
In powder, the Lone Wolf is like a tanker on water. Stay on course by cruising and nothing will survive your destructive spatula.
The Lone Wolf is an atypical board with an original shape that promises beautiful and long curves to aggressive snowboarders.
Please note: In an effort to reduce waste, Jones randomly produces the base colours by inverting graphics and backgrounds.
- Camber: Christenson Surf Camber Rocker : nose and tail rocker designed by shaper Chris Christenson. Very long rocker that starts at the front and rear inserts.

- Directional : classic shape with the nose slightly longer than the tail for float on unpacked snow.

- Traction tech 1.0 : The undulating edges offer an edge grip with multiple contact points along the length of the board. This technology offsets the edge drift of the rocker, so that you can firmly lock into any moves.

- Core:
- FSC™ Bamboo Surf Core : Triple-layer bamboo strips along the edges for better reactivity and more powerful turns.
- Triax Carbon / innegra Reinforcement : Fine carbon and composite fibres arranged in a diamond pattern improve the cushioning properties of the core.
- Topsheet:
- ECO-Plastic TopSheet : recycled plastic obtained from the Ricin plant. This eco-friendly material is ultra-light, scratch-resistant and water-repellent to prevent snow from sticking to the topsheet.
- Biax Fibreglass : double layer of fibreglass applied in both directions for a fun board that forgives small mistakes.
- Carbon / innegra Reinforcement : Fine carbon and composite fibres arranged in a diamond pattern improve the cushioning properties of the core.
- Sole:
- Sintered 9900 base: base made from UHMW-PE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) and carbon. Extremely easy to repair, with maximum acceleration and glide.
- Flip-Flop base: to minimise waste during the manufacturing process. Two base colours available, delivered randomly according to stock.
- Technologies:
- Oversized Recycled Edges : edges made of recycled steel.
- Recycled Rounded ABS : The ABS plastics in Jones boards are made from recycled plastic.
- Wend Natural Wax : ready to use as soon as they leave the factory, Jones snowboards are already waxed with natural Wend wax.
- Super Sap Bio Resin : All Jones boards are now built with bio-based, renewable epoxy instead of petroleum based epoxy. The raw materials used to make Super Sap Bio-Resin are co-products or waste products of other plant-based industrial processes. Producing Super Sap requires 33% less greenhouse gas emissions than traditional epoxy.
The Lone Wolf is a beautiful free carving board that easily follows long, tight curves. Choose the Lone Wolf for excitement in powder snow even in the slightly more difficult conditions. Quite versatile, the Lone Wolf does really well on packed snow when the powder is not there. Understated but original, the Lone Wolf is an excellent choice for snowboarders who have freeride in their skin.
