A board designed for free carving, the Lone Wolf is the brainchild of the surfer/shaper Chris Christenson and pro-rider Jeremy Jones. With its powder and freecarve-loving design, the Lone Wolf is built for big turns on virgin snow thanks to its hefty 9.3m sidecut radius.
With a classic camber underfoot, 7/10 flex and wide base, this swallow tail board is ideal for aggressive riders who love carving through packed snow. The Lone Wolf has a 100% bamboo core as well as bamboo stringers along the edges, making this beast reactive and able to arc big turns.
When it comes to powder, the Lone Wolf floats like a champ! So, if you want the speed of a missile, this big-nosed board will crush it on the slopes.

Camber - Directional Rocker (camber+Rocker): classic camber with rocker for greater float and grip in all snow conditions. The longer rockered tip improves float, while the camber ensures edge hold and response. The shorter tail rocker not only provides the same power and stability than other boards, but prevents catch when entering turns and landing switch.
Shape:
Directional: classic shape with the nose slightly longer than the tail for float on unpacked snow.
Spoon 3.0 (only on the nose) : bevelled up edges on the nose and tail. The spoon shapes reduces friction for a smoother ride. The convex shape lets you roll into turns and avoid catches. The Spoon 3D also improves float over powder.
Blunt Nose: a blunt nose so you can glide across rather than snow plough your way around the slopes.
Traction Tech 1.0 : edge grip with multiple contact points along the length of the board. This technology offsets the edge drift of the rocker, so that you can firmly lock into any moves.
Progressive Sidecut: The radius at the ends of the sidecut is slightly increased as the edge reaches the contact points. This larger radius ensures a smoother ride when entering and exiting turns.
Flex - 7/10 - Rigid flex
Core - NEW Bamboo Surf Core: Triple-layer core composed of bamboo stringers along the edges for better reactivity and more powerful turns.
Topsheet -
Biax Fiberglass: double layer of fiberglass applied in both directions for a fun board that forgives small mistakes.
New! Carbon / innegra Reinforcement : A fine, diamond pattern composite carbon layer for added cushioning along the core.
- ECO-Plastic TopSheet: a recycled topsheet made from Castor beans. This eco-friendly material is ultra-light, scratch-resistant and water-repellent to prevent snow from sticking to the topsheet.
Base - Sintered 9900 base : base made from UHMW-PE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) and carbon. Extremely easy to repair, with maximum acceleration and glide.
Technology:
- Oversized Recycled Edges: recycled steel edges.
- Recycled ABS: as with all Jones boards, only recycled ABS plastic is used.
- Wend Natural Wax: pre-waxed with Wend natural wax so the snowboard is immediately ready to shred!

- Stainless Steel Reinforcement: stainless steel plate reinforcements at the nose and tail of the board to increase its durability.
- Factory tuned: ready to ride. Jones boards can hit the slopes straight away!
La Lone Wolf est une belle planche de free carving qui enchaine facilement les longues courbes appuyées. Aucun problème avec la Lone Wolf qui donnent de bonnes sensations en poudreuse et même dans la neige un peu plus difficile. Assez polyvalente, la Lone Wolf se débrouille vraiment bien sur la neige damée lorsque la poudreuse n'est pas au rendez-vous. Sobre mais originale, la Lone Wolf est un excellent choix pour des snowboarders qui ont le freeride dans la peau.
Les Plus : bonnes capicités en poudreuse comme en damée, shape.
Les Moins : profil imposant.
