The Laser SX is a downhill ski from the Laser range developed by the Swiss brand Stöckli. This brand's passion for skiing and its search for perfection has motivated it for more than 80 years to develop innovative, quality products in the traditional Swiss style. The many first places obtained in international skiing competitions prove that Stöckli skis are of exceptional quality.
The engineers and designers are always looking for innovative technologies, geometries and designs. Each year the team at the Malters plant (canton of Lucerne) hand produce about 50,000 pairs of skis. The models are manufactured and tested with great attention to detail to obtain that famous Swiss quality. The secret that marks the excellence of Stöckli skis is visible and perceptible in each hand-finished model.
The Laser SX from Stöckli has long been distinguished by its great manoeuvrability and precise handling, exactly what you need in ski cross and giant slalom! It is easier to handle and less demanding than the Laser GS, also designed for large turns, but retains a high level of performance.
A true machine on the slopes, it allows you to speed down the slopes with stability and efficiency. This year, the Full Edge Contact and Turtle Shell Racing technologies combine to further enhance stability and turning accuracy thanks to a wider tip and tail.
Its Sandwich Sidewall Technology construction assembled layer-by-layer offers excellent power transmission as well as increased precision in a turn sequences.
Also new is the Turtle Grip coating, which is slightly shiny and gives the ski an elegant design and finish.
The Laser SX is for advanced skiers who have a need for speed!

Turn radii:
149 cm: 11.6 m
156 cm: 12.7 m
163 cm: 14.0 m
170 cm: 15.4 m
177 cm: 16.8 m
184 cm: 18.3 m
Construction:
Sandwich Sidewall:
The ski is assembled layer-by-layer, with each layer glued under pressure - a well-proven manufacturing process in ski construction.
Core:
Combicore: wood and laminated fibreglass.
Surface:
Polyamide.
Coating:
Racing graphite.
Technologies:
Turtle Shell Racing:
Inspired by the turtle shells, Stöckli has developed the Turtle Shell technology. The principle is simple: the joints between the scales give the shell a certain flexibility, which allows the turtle to breathe easily. But in case of sudden impact, the scales tighten to form a hard and rigid shell. Skis equipped with Turtle Shell react in the same way by changing their behaviour according to the speed. This gives skis a wider field of use.
Benefits: resistance in neutral torsion and flexibility at reduced speed - Rigidity and sporty character at high speed and with greater support.
Sandwich Sidewall Technology (S.S.T.):
Many years of experience and continuous development of the sandwich/sidewall technology means the turn and flex of the skis can be accurately calculated for precise power transmission on snow.
Benefits: excellent power transmission - high precision and robust construction.
Solid Metal Edge:
Wider and more robust edges for longer life and longer service life.
Benefits: longer life of the ski and more services (sanding) possible.
Full Edge Contact:
The ski is wider at the tip and the tail.
Benefits: easier and quicker turning - better grip thanks to the longer contact surface.
Turtle Grip:
New surface used on the Laser X models. Texture that creates a slightly glossy surface, which gives the ski design an elegant look. The graphic layer is rugged.
Benefits: Nicer feel - more eye-catching - Especially adapted for rental
