The Laser CX is a carving ski from the Laser range, developed by the Swiss brand Stöckli. This brand's passion for skiing and the quest for perfection have motivated them for more than 80 years to develop innovative and quality products in pure Swiss tradition. The many first places that they've won at international ski tests prove that Stöckli skis are skis of exceptional quality.
Engineers and designers are always on the hunt for innovative technologies, geometries and designs. Each year, the Malters (LU) factory team produces around 50,000 pairs of skis by hand. The models are manufactured and tested with great attention to detail, until they reach the famous Swiss quality. Visible and perceptible on each model finished by hand, it is the secret that makes the Stöckli skis so exceptional.
The Laser CX 2019 from Stöckli is marked this year by its new incorporation of the Full Edge Contact tip, which is wider than before and allows the skier to have more control on turns thanks to a more substantial contact surface. Turtle Shell Racing technology further enhances the stability and manouverability of the ski as it gains speed. Its thicker Titanal layer allows the ski to adapt better to the skier's speed. At low speed, it is more flexible and docile, while during faster phases, the ski regains its full sporting character and stiffens in order to support high intense activity.
Its Sandwich Sidewall Technology construction, assembled layer by layer, offers excellent power transmission and high precision.
Another new feature is the Turtle Grip coating, which is slightly glossy and gives the ski an elegant design that is nice on the touch.
The Laser CX is designed for experienced skiers looking for an all-rounder: a high perfoming, forgiving ski that handles both long and short turns with perfection!

Turning radius:
163 cm : 12.8 m
170 cm: 14.1 m
177 cm: 15.4 m
Construction:
Sandwich Sidewall:
The ski is assembled layer by layer and then glued under pressure. A manufacturing process which has proven effective for many years.
Core:
Combicore: wood and laminated fiberglass.
Surface:
Polyamide.
Technologies:
Turtle Shell Racing:
Inspired by the shell's of turtles, Stöckli have developed Turtle Shell technology. The principle is simple: the joints between the scales on a turtle's shell ensure that the shell is flexible, allowing the turtle to breathe without difficulty. But in the event of a sudden impact, the scales tighten to form a hard and rigid shell. Skis equipped with Turtle Shell react in the same way by changing their behaviour according to the speed. This result is skis with a wider range of use.
Advantages: neutral torsional strength and flexibility at low speed - Stiffness and dynamism at high level speed and activity.
Sandwich Sidewall Technology (S.S.T.):
Years of experience and continuous development of sandwich/side edge technology allow for precise determination of the curve and flex of the skis, for precise power transmission on the snow.
Advantages: excellent power transmission - high accuracy and robust construction.
Solid Metal Edge:
The edges are wider to extend the life of the skis when they are put to the test. The very robust materials and an elaborate design of the ski surface provide additional protection against scratches and damage.
Advantages: Longer ski life - and a larger number of possible sandings.
Full Edge Contact:
The ski is wider at the tip and tail.
Advantages: easier and faster turn initiation - better grip on the turn thanks to a longer contact surface.
Turtle Grip:
New surface used on Laser X models. Texture that creates a slightly shiny surface, giving the ski design an elegant look. The graphics on top are rough.
Advantages: Nice to touch - Eye-catching - Specially adapted for rental
