"Oh my god, my Ride board is beautiful, but I am really too afraid to mess it up on rail that is tempting me " . Go, let your heart speak and fear nothing with your Kink at your feet. The Kink is made for tearing up boxes, filing rails and breaking step sets. And this year Jed Anderson has chosen the graphics for the board!
To do this, the Kink is reinforced by two Double Flat Impacts, these double reinforcements placed under the inserts limit the impacts received by the core and extend the life expectancy of your board. The Slimewalls are urethane reinforcements placed along the edges to absorb vibrations as much as possible and also play on the durability of the core.
Finally, the Cleave Edge™ are 50% thicker than standard edges. Your Kink is even less afraid of bad impacts on the edges! It is a guarantee of solidity for use in urban freestyle environments.
In terms of the ride, the Biaxial fiberglass and the Performance™ Core make the Kink a fairly soft but nevertheless grippy board with its standard camber. Its soft flex and small double rockers give it a playful side and all the pop needed for stylish performances. It is a reference for the riders of the Ride team and Jed Anderson for their street freestyle sessions.

Camber Twin Hybrid : symmetrical board (twin) with camber under the supports and two short rockers identical in nose and tail. The contact points are set back to improve lift and limit unintentional snags
Shape:
Twin : a perfectly symmetrical board from its centre to its ends. Ideal for freestylers and riders who don't have a favourite front foot!
- Quadratic Sidecut: a clever mix of 3 different turn radii that make turning easier. The Quadratic Sidecut is adapted to the shape and size of the board, of course!
Flex : 5/10 Medium.
Core :
-Performance Core : very resistant wood core made of aspen (poplar) combined with bamboo and paulownia for its lightness properties. A perfect blend of strength and lightness
Double Impact Plates: reinforcement Double plate under each of the binding areas. Improves resistance when compressed and reduces the risk of breaking.
Fiberglass - Biaxial Glass : glass fibres placed perpendicular to each other. For boards that are not too rigid and tolerant
Sole : sintered sole made of durable high quality Ptex 4000, denser and faster than extruded sole

- Slimewalls® : 3D construction around the Slimewall edges reinforcing rigidity, preventing the topsheet from disintegrating and reducing weight.

The Kink is a board playing on two fields. First of all, it is a very freestyle board that is made for any kind of tricks. It is stable, symmetrical and tolerant with a leg-friendly flex!
The Kink is also the board of choice for riders who have mastered the technical basics and want to spend all their time on the slopes and enjoy the ride. The length of the edge ensures a good grip and the Kink is easy to use. It is not designed to attack and look for speed but it does provide the necessary support to ride on all types of snow.
