The Kingpin M-Werks 12 are touring/freerando bindings from Marker.

The Kingpin M-Werks 12 is extremely lightweight! Weighing only 655 grams (including the brake), they are light but strong! To achieve this, Marker engineers have combined the lightness of an insert binding with the strength of an alpine binding, in order to give you the best sensations both on the way up and down!

In order to achieve this, the XXL power transmitters have been lightened and placed on the sides to give you a better power transmission from your boot to the binding, while eliminating friction between it and the binding!

The toe piece has also been reduced in weight thanks to the presence of 30% carbon, in order to combine lightness and rigidity for better support on the downhill! In addition, to make the bindings more comfortable, a new lever to switch from the walk to ski position, has been redesigned to make this transition easier.

With this, visual aids let you know if your binding is properly attached and Ice Pads help prevent the formation of ice, to prevent slipping.

The heel pad has also been redesigned to make it more lightweight, thanks to the use of a new mix of materials. Power transfer, strength and weight are improved thanks to a plate containing 30% carbon. The aramid fibers built into the sliding plate are so light that they reduce the total weight of the binding, all while remaining extremely resistant to cracking.

Finally, the bindings are equipped with 3 climbing aids: 0, 7 or 13 degrees which can be easily adjusted, for example with the baskets of your poles, for better comfort once again!
