This new binding, designed for extreme freeriders, stands out for its low-tech and alpinefunctions. You will be able to enjoy the advantages of an insert binding on the way up and the alpine mode on the way down.
The Ride & Hike front stop allows precise safety release with a DIN of up to 12. In the event of a fall, the AFD (Anti Friction Device) system will ensure lateral release while avoiding being impacted by snow and ice.
If you wish to switch to walking mode, simply unlock the upper part and fold it forwards. As this front stop is convertible, it is possible to remove it completely and store it in your rucksack to save 250g on the way up. This way, you can just keep the insert when climbing up. WithAuto Quad Lock, the stop also locks automatically when the shoe is in place.
In addition, the multifunctional Lock & Walk brake systematically blocks the ski-brake and has an ascent wedge with a 10° position that can be activated with a pole. Practical!
Equipped with the adjustable Sole.ID sliding plate, the Duke PT 12 is fully compatible with alpine ski, ski touring or GripWalk soles

- Auto Quad Lock The front stop automatically locks at 4 different points when you put on the binding.

Whether you prefer alpine ski boots or ski touring boots, with Sole.ID you can adjust the binding in a few seconds. The secret is the height-adjustable sliding plate; easy to use, it obviously offers uncompromising performance. Sole.ID conforms to the alpine standard ISO 5355 and touring standard ISO 9523.

- Ride & Hike Toe : Offers the outstanding performance and release function of Royal Family bindings on descents combined pin-insert technology ensuring strong performance also on uphill; DIN 6 - 16. Convertible toe saves 300g per foot for the uphill
- AFD Gliding Plate: all Marker bindings are equipped with an AFD (anti friction device) which guarantees a release of the highest precision, that will be unaffected by dirt, snow or ice! Adjustment of the AFD can be varied according to the activity, whether it's competitive runs, children's activities or cross-country skiing.
- Hollow Linkage Heel: The Hollow Linkage Heel is from a completely new design, to ensure optimal support for all types of insoles for downhill skiing. Its hollow aluminum shaft reduces weight and maximizes torsional stiffness. This very robust heel structure is particularly suitable for the most difficult conditions.
