The Vipec Evo 12 bindings from Diamir offer easy fitting for ski touring!

Diamir has used all of its know-how and experience to develop the Vipec Evo 12s, revolutionary bindings that offer hikers maximum safety and impressive lightness. These new bindings are equipped with an automatic toe piece that allows for safe side release and an automatic heel support that allows for safe front release. Diamir has also developed a unique safety release system: a mechanism that maintains constant pressure on the bindings and therefore on the release systems (the pressure of the boots on the bindings must remain constant for the release systems to work).

The Vipec Evo 12s therefore offer easier fitting. This fitting system allows the toes to find their optimal position against the fixed stop thanks to a visual guide. The system requires only slight pressure to close thanks to the sensitivity of the pin levers in the inserts. The fitting process is therefore similar to putting on alpine ski bindings.

In addition, to enhance the safety of these bindings, the Vipec Evo 12s have a front release system that releases the boots immediately. After releasing the heel, the boot will tilt forward and force the toe to put pressure on the Release Lever, which automatically releases the boot from the toe piece.

As well as being incredibly safe, the Vipec Evo 12 bindings are set apart by their lightness, comfort and uphill and downhill performance.Diamir has made the bindings more rigid for better energy transmission, greater stability and a larger support area. This model is also very easy to use, with intuitive fitting and removal, and the transition from the uphill position to the downhill position is comfortable and can be carried out using a pole without removing the skis.

The Vipec Evo 12s offer three climbing positions to best adapt to the inclination of the slope and an attachment system for crampons that can be adjusted according to the snow.
