The Custom X is the professional version of the Custom model from Burton. This model is designed for snowboarders with a very good level as it is a powerful and demanding board.
Designed with the best technologies on the market, the Custom X is a true competition board. The Dragonfly 600G avec EGD multizones core makes this a lightweight board that doesn't compromise on resistance or performance. The Carbon Highlights High Voltage fibreglass increases the boards strength for a longer lifespan.
The directional shape and standard camber allows for sharp, precise turns. The Custom X is the stiffest board offered by Burton. It's stiff twin flex responds instantly.
With the power of the Custom X, you will be able to ride at mach 3 in all snow conditions no matter how steep the slope. It is strongly recommended to have a very good level to be able to master the Custom X.

Core - FSC™ Certified Dragonfly™ 600G Core with Multizone EGD™ and Squeezebox : TheDragonfly 600G core with multi-zone EGD features end-grain woods in the impact zones for lighter weight without loss of strength. The Squeezebox construction involves thickening and thinning sections of the board's profile around and between the bindings to improve energy transfer. Lighter but equally resistant wood species make it possible to lighten the board while maintaining its strength. Multizone EGD™ construction involves arranging the wood fibres of the core perpendicular to the rest of the core at the support zones for better edge control and power transmission.
fibreglass -45° Carbon Highlights High Voltage: The Carbon Highlights High Voltage 45° fibreglass construction optimises each layer of the fibreglass matrix, adding an integral carbon coating to reduce weight and refine twist feel, and incorporating carbon strips to increase the lifespan of your snowboard.
Base -Sintered WFO : The WFO sintered base features a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of its extra-absorbent high-density material, making it extremely durable for all season riding in all conditions.

The Custom X is a sporty board and not easy to get used to at first.
It's a steep, high-performance board. Despite its power, it remains a precise board when mastered. It is demanding and firm but can ride on all types of terrain. This board is best suited for experienced and expert riders.
The Custom X is still an excellent board when you have the right level. It has excellent performance.
