The Black Pearl 88 returns this season after having totally convinced women of its worth last year, thanks in particular to its incredible performance on all terrains and in all conditions! It has the feel of the freeride range but with a narrower sidecut and a flatter tail. The resulting product is a very versatile ski. Packing a punch on the piste, it is particularly efficient at piste edges, even more so in the smaller model. As an middle ground ski in the Blizzard Black Pearl range between the 97 and 82 versions, this is surely the most versatile.
The Black Pearl 88 is a ski that brings confidence, safety and ease to all terrains.
With a 88mm waist, it grips well and is lively on packed slopes, its easy handling now well-proven. It does however maintain a good lift for those who want to head off the beaten track. Its light and very playful construction in the tip, the radius and the length of the rockers have been reduced to make it a more accessible ski while remaining really powerful. Day in, day out, this ski will wow you with its capacity to do everything, and to do it well.
The Black Pearl 88 is the perfect ski for experienced to expert skiers who want to progress in all conditions, but who still prefer to spend most of their time on the pistes.

The traditional camber profile distributes pressure evenly and gradually from the tip to the heel, maximizing edge retention throughout the turn.

True Blend Flipcore W.S.D (Woman Specific Design):
TRUE BLEND WOOD CORE technology is based on the combination of two different types of wood. The high-density wooden slats are integrated into the wooden core of the ski.
By changing the number and length of the slats, Blizzard is able to control the flex very precisely.
A higher flex in the centre of the ski where more power is needed and a softer flex in the tail and tip for better tolerance.
Sidewall Construction:
Integrated partial sidewall to ensure better energy transfer, along with precision and stability from the structure. Straight edges along the whole ski
The result: torsional rigidity created by the integrated side edges which improves ski performance.
The Black Pearl 88 from Blizzard is a ski that continues to impress with its versatility and feel on the snow. Its design allows it to go off piste even if it will lack a little lift on big powder days. It really is a very pleasant ski on piste, which carves serious lines without being too forced, but which will nevertheless satisfy excellent skiers.
