The Backland 85 W are touring ski for women from Atomic. This model is the most versatile of the range, it will perform equally well on both uphill and downhill.
The Backland range's success comes from its perfect adaptation to both aspects of ski touring. The Ultra Light Woodcore makes the skis extremely light for ascents and extremely stable for descents. They perform just as well on packed snow as in powder.
This new version features the Horizon Tech spoon-shaped tip, which makes the skis even lighter and easier to ski off-piste, even on crusty snow. The Cap Sidewall construction guarantees ideal power transmission and excellent grip on all types of terrain and the tip rocker makes riding easy on all types of snow.
They are very versatile, perform well on all types of terrain and offer stability worthy of alpine skis. They include a carbon insert that reinforces the structure of the skis without weighing them down. Pre-cut skins are also available for this type of skis.
The Backland 85 W is designed for easy ascents and excellent downhill performance in all types of snow.
