The Backland 65 UL is a mountain ski for men from Atomic.
Designed in collaboration with the multiple ski mountaineering world champion Damiano Lenzi this ski is a real rocket! On the way up, take advantage of the efficiency of its edges, and on the way down, its optimised rockers make it very stable.
Equipped with a 65mm waist, it is an ultra-fine and ultra-light ski, ideal for endurance touring competitions. Its Full Cap structure is equipped with super fine HRZN tips that slice through powder and wet snow like blades and ensure precise steering in busy, ploughed snow. The construction has been optimised and the tip refined for even more manoeuvrability.
It also has a 100% wooden Ultra Light Woodcore core, made of poplar and carob tree which makes it one of the lightest mountain skis on the market. Their carbon inserts above and below the core allow the weight of the skis to be reduced as much as possible, while maintaining very good stability and solidity.
The Backland 65 UL is equipped with an all-mountain rocker at the tip, as well as a sole used by Damiano Lenzi and the Skimo world cup team to master your skis in all circumstances, even on hard snow!
As a little extra, the Backland 65 UL are equipped with notches on the tip to mount skins very quickly in competition.
The Backland 65 UL is a perfect ski for endurance touring enthusiasts who want to make fast ascents and dynamic descents!
