Futurelight is one of the most advanced technologies on the market: not only does this innovative fabric feature a 3-layer construction (the best in terms of waterproofing and durability), it also boasts an ingenious water-repellent coating that preserves 80% of the fabric's original performance after more than 80 washings, while offering performance that a traditional DWR treatment cannot match.

The North Face's Futurelight technology also offers outstanding breathability through nanospinning: a process that consists in creating micro-perforations on the membrane to provide increased air permeability, without compromising its waterproofing performance.
