Millet is THE reference French brand for hiking and mountaineering supplies, whether for clothing or equipment. It is therefore no surprise that we have placed our trust in Millet and its Trident range for our approach and hiking shoes.

Trident, the intelligent hiking shoe

The Millet shoes in this range come in three models and in several colours.
The Triden Guide shoe is a rather light, breathable and precise summer Alpine approach shoe. It is perfect for rock climbing, via ferrata or even rapid descents on all terrains, thanks in particular to its Vibram Mulaz sole with "climbing zone". Here you will find it in red or black.
As its name suggests, the more recent Trident GTX is equipped with the Millet brand's Gore Tex® technology. It is therefore 28% more breathable than its little sister and offers better protection against humidity during all approach activities. It is only available in black
Finally, you could choose the Super trident GTX. This shoe is a high-top version of the Trident GTX, thus offering all the advantages of this model, but with the added bonus of better ankle support. Also available in red and black, it will be the ideal partner on more rugged paths and in case of scree slopes, for example.

Discover the expertise of the Millet brand

The Gore Tex technology that features in the Trident GTX and Super Trident GTX shoes is a genuine revolution and is now found in much of the brand's equipment. Established in France in the 1920s, Millet exclusively manufactured waxed canvases, grocery bags and food bags.

After the war, the company expanded its business to offer functional and innovative hiking bags and created the Gore Tex® membrane, which would prove its major success. So much so that in the 1990s it merged with the Lafuma group and adapted its expertise to the field of mountain clothing, now having become a genuine benchmark when it comes to clothing and equipment for skiing, hiking, mountaineering, climbing etc.
