Just like with clothes, mountaineers benefit from the unique temperature and moisture regulation offered by wool, which keeps their backs dry. Thanks to the wool, the back of the backpack can absorb almost 30 times more moisture than similar backpacks with a foam back panel, and it is almost 7% more breathable. Another advantage of wool is that the surface of the back panel dries faster. The full-contact back panel fits close to the body and provides optimal load distribution. Its construction consists of two aluminium crossbars that offer great stability and comfort even with a heavy load. |
