The gaiters Kangri GTX Black from this brand Rab are made to withstand the harshest conditions.
This model is based on 3-layerGORE-TEX® technology with an ePE (expanded Polyethylene) membrane, free from PFAS. Combined with a PFC-free DWR water-repellent treatment, this membrane guarantees exceptional waterproofing, allowing you to progress with confidence in heavy rain or deep snow. To counter premature wear on technical terrain, the ankle area is specifically reinforced to withstand friction from rocks, abrasive debris and even accidental stud marks during your high-altitude climbs.
The design of these gaiters has been developed for maximum efficiency without compromising on comfort. Thanks to their zipless Velcroclosing system, they can be slipped on and off in an instant, which is a valuable asset when the weather changes suddenly. The gaiter is secured by straps under the foot and lace hooks, ensuring that it stays perfectly in place, regardless of the intensity of your stride. For total insulation against the elements, the drawstring at the top of the calf allows for a precise fit, while the elasticated ankles ensure a slim, space-saving profile.

| GORE-TEX® ePE | The ePE (expanded polyethylene) membrane in the new GORE‑TEX® products is a key step on the road to responsible performance, providing high-performance, long-lasting products designed to last. The all-new GORE‑TEX® ePE membrane is light, thin but strong. To form a GORE-TEX® product, the membrane is combined with carefully selected fabrics, such as recycled, solution-dyed or undyed*** fabrics. * Contributes to the objective of Gore Textiles eliminating environmentally concerning PFCs from the life cycle of its consumer products. Here, the objective is achieved by using non-fluorinated materials. ** Thanks to the use of a new membrane with lower mass and the textile(s) selected for the laminates (Higg MSI) *** Depending on the laminate used |
