The backpacks in the Guide range are ideal for ambitious mountaineers who are looking for a very light and complete backpack for their expeditions.
With a volume of 22L, the Guide 22 SL has a main compartment that is quickly accessible thanks to a new flap construction. The bag has a number of attachments for your accessories such as a helmet, ice axe and goggles, as well as a side pocket for a mobile phone and a flask pocket on the shoulder strap. This model also compatible with a 2L water pouch.
The Deuter Alpine back system offers you excellent carrying comfort, good load distribution and good back ventilation during exercise. For a perfect fit and even more comfort, the shoulder straps and the chest straps are adjustable. Finally, the padded waist belt is removable for even more minimalism.
This women's model also has a shorter back, narrower straps and a belt which are all specially adapted to the female body shape.

Deuter Alpine back:
For backpacks intended for alpine use, it is essential that the balance between durability and function and weight is at its optimum. The Alpine system is up to this challenge. Perfectly adapted to the body, its two Softstripe cushions flexibly adapt to the shape of the back with every movement. In combination with the slim storage bag, the load is always close to the centre of gravity. This means, with total control of the bag, you can concentrate on navigating the terrain.
- The system combines a firm and secure position with excellent carrying comfort and good ventilation between the two Softstripe back cushions.
SL Fit - Shape adjusted to female anatomy:
- Shorter back Women's backs are generally shorter than men's. The carrying systems of SL models are therefore shorter to better adapt to the female body shape.
- Narrower straps. The straps have a pronounced S-shape and rounded edges. They are narrower and closer for a perfect fit on the shoulders, without pressure points or rubbing.
- Cone shaped padded hip fins. The hip fins form a cone to fit the female anatomy perfectly.
