With a weight of 260g, this model can be considered one of the lightest in its range. It's also extremely versatile, with a 6mm drop. The Vibram® Litebase outsole provides excellent adherence without compromising on weight and strength. With its simplified upper construction, this is an ideal competition shoe for technical and dynamic trails with tricky downhill sections. For this second version of the Alpine DNAthe padding has been reduced to save weight without sacrificing protection.
The Double Speed Lacing system ensures a precise, comfortable and secure fit. The SPEED+ midsole and balanced cushioning provide a dynamic, responsive feel. Finally, this model is equipped with the extra Volume Reducer sole which reduces the volume in the middle of the shoe for a firmer fit.

Vibram® Litebase: Vibram® Litebase is an innovative technology designed to significantly reduce the weight of the outsole by reducing the thickness of the rubber, while maintaining the lugs' layout and structure, giving it the same performance as a thicker outsole. Vibram® Litebase technology reduces sole thickness by around 40-50%, from 1.7mm to 0.5-0.9mm, depending on the sole type, resulting in a weight reduction of 25-30%. The substantial reduction in rubber thickness does not compromise sole traction, durability or the risk of laceration.
