This new model in the Aircontact Ultra range focuses on comfort and lightness to be the ultimate trekking companion for you've always dreamed of. This lightweight version does not neglect comfort and durability; it boasts high performance material for improved robustness. The flap is removable, making it even lighter!
With the Aircontact back system and the new Air Spacer Mesh, the bag combines comfort, cushioning and the most efficient ventilation in the range. The length of the back is adjustable for a customised fit and optimised carrying comfort on your long walks.
The Pull-Forward system makes it easy to adjust the waist strap. This very practical model incorporates a separate compartment onto the bottom of the bag as well as an extendable inner compartment to store your wet items. It also contains numerous pockets, external attachments for poles and ice axes and is compatible with a 3L water pouch.
As an added bonus, the compression straps are removable to allow you to adapt your bag to your chosen equipment and to your explorations.
This women's model also has a shorter back, narrower straps and a belt which are all specially adapted to the female body shape.

Deuter Aircontact System Back:
- Heavy loads are carried more easily when the backpack and carrier form a unit. This Aircontact principle is as follows: the carrying system is close to the body and the weight therefore remains close to its centre of gravity. This guarantees complete control and efficient load transfer.
- Also, the breathable back cushions allow for a pumping effect to occur with each movement, providing good ventilation. This results in 15% less perspiration with every movement compared to an ordinary backpack in contact with the body.
SL Fit - Shape tailored for women
- Shorter back Women's backs are generally shorter than men's. The carrying systems of the Deuter SL models are therefore shorter to better adapt to the female body shape.
- Narrower straps. The straps have a pronounced S-shape and rounded edges. They are narrower and closer for a perfect fit on the shoulders, without pressure points or rubbing.
- Cone shaped padded hip fins. The hip fins form a cone to fit the female shape perfectly.
