The Aircontact Core models are ideal for women who want to go on long hikes and are looking for carrying comfort and good ventilation.
An improved version of the classic model, the Aircontact back system with its new Air Spacer Mesh provides the most efficient ventilation in the range while ensuring perfect load transfer thanks to its Y-frame and body-hugging system.
For personalised comfort, the VariQuick system allows you to adjust the back length while the Pull-Forward system makes it easy to adjust the abdominal strap. Very practical, this model integrates a separate compartment on the bottom of the bag as well as an extendable inner compartment to store your wet items. It also contains numerous pockets, external attachments for poles and ice axes and is compatible with a 3L water pouch.
This women's model also has a shorter back, narrower straps and a belt which are all specially adapted to the female body shape.

Deuter Aircontact Back System:
- High loads are carried more easily when backpack and carrier form a unit. This is the principle of Aircontact: the carrying system is close to the body and the weight therefore remains close to its centre of gravity. This guarantees complete control and efficient load transfer.
- At the same time, the breathable back cushions provide pleasant ventilation by pumping with every movement, resulting in 15% less perspiration than with an ordinary backpack that lies close to the body.
SL Fit - Shape adjusted to female anatomy:
- Shorter back Women's backs are generally shorter than men's. The carrying systems of SL models are therefore shorter to better adapt to the female body shape.
- Narrower straps. The straps have a pronounced S-shape and rounded edges. They are narrower and closer for a perfect fit on the shoulders, without pressure points or rubbing.
- Conical hip stabilisers The hip stabilisers form a cone to fit the female anatomy perfectly.
