It is a mid hiking boot in suede with a Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort lining that is waterproof and breathable.
Designed to provide comfort and ankle protection during your hikes, this is a boot you can rely on when facing more technical, rocky trails or via ferratas thanks to the grip of its Vibram® Alpine Approach sole.

The WS MTN Trainer Mid GTX incorporates Salewa technologies such as the Alpine Fit guarantee of 100% blister-free wear, the Multi Foot Fit Plus (MFF +) which customises your insole with interchangeable layers to adapt to the unique shape of your foot, the climbing lacing for greater precision, and the 3F system for firm support of the ankle, endpiece/hinge mount, and adaptive foam padding in the heel area.

Traction, grip and confidence: a sole made to master via ferratas, scree slopes and rocky passages. A specially designed profile provides a larger contact surface during climbing, while the lugs prevent slipping on via ferrata ladders.
