Description

The Ultra -5° Charcoal / Butterscotch is an extremely light and compact three-season sleeping bag from Exped.

Its double-ended YKK zip provides extra resistance in sensitive areas, while a thick draft barrier supports it for optimum heat retention. What's more, its elliptical drawstring collar adjusts with an elastic drawcord so that the collar covers the entire shoulder, ideal for keeping warmth in and reducing gathering. The hood and collar can be closed and adjusted to ensure perfect insulation.

The three-dimensional anatomical foot section has eleven down compartments. With this, you're sure to keep your feet nice and warm. Other H-shaped compartments around the perimeter allow you to move the duvet up or down depending on the temperature conditions and the mattress used.

An added bonus: this product is bluesign®,OEKO-TEX®, and Responsible Down Standard certified, so you can be sure that its production is environmentally friendly, and Exped has sought to identify, reduce and offset all the CO2 generated by its manufacture and transport.

In short, if you're looking for an extremely lightweight, compact and warmtrekking sleeping bag, you've come to the right place.

Technologies:

PERTEX® Quantum: Made with precision from incredibly fine yarns Pertex® Quantum fabrics are designed to trap still air and improve insulation efficiency. This fabric is light, soft and extremely compressible. This fabric has a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish that protects against light rain and snow to provide extra protection against the elements.

H box: The H-shaped box construction is the most classic and comfortable. It provides an excellent compromise between thermal insulation and compressibility.

Responsible Down Standard - RDS: RDS standard guarantees down and feathers from well-treated ducks and geese, which are healthy and express their innate behaviour, without experiencing pain, fear or distress. This standard covers the entire supply chain, from breeding to the final product.

Okeo-Tex®: Oeko-Tex® is a testing, auditing and certification system for environmentally friendly operations throughout the textile production chain. It includes all operationally relevant areas (management, production technologies, resource uses, quality assurance, safety precautions, social conditions etc.) in its sustainability review. In order to be certified in accordance with the Oeko-Tex® standard, companies must meet defined criteria for their environmentally friendly production process which are also socially acceptable at all stages of production.

Bluesign®: The bluesign® system is the solution for an environmentally-friendly textiles industry. It eliminates harmful substances from the beginning of the manufacturing process and sets and monitors standards for safe and environmentally friendly production.
