| Responsible Down Standard (RDS) | 100% of the down used in our sleeping bags and duvets is independently certified according to the RDS standard (Responsible Down Standard). The RDS certifies animal welfare requirements and traceability from source to final product. Purchasing RDS-certified products demonstrates demand for better animal welfare practices in the down and feather supply chain. Sea to Summit is RDS certified. |
| 650+ loft Ultra-Dry Down | It is the third most voluminous down used in sleeping bags and duvets Sea to Summit. 650+ Fill Power indicates that one ounce (30g) of down will re-expand to over 650 cubic inches after compression. A higher fill power means that less down is used to achieve the same temperature, which is important for high-performance sleeping bags. The loft and the quality/composition of the down are independently tested by the International Down and Feather Laboratory (IDFL) - a copy of the certification is provided with each sleeping bag Sea to Summit. The down comes from a responsible source, is RDS certified and is treated with our PFC-free Ultra-Dry Down™ treatment. |
| Free Flow Zip | Our triple zip Free Flow allows your sleeping bag to retain maximum warmth and efficiency when needed, as well as multiple ventilation options when it is not. The (half) zip on the right side of the bag (left side on women's bags) provides freedom of movement for both arms, extra ventilation and allows you to fold the top third of the bag into a (mini) duvet when the mercury rises higher than expected. |
