Trango Tower Extreme Gtx Black/Yellow

The Trango Tower Extreme GTX from La Sportiva is a men's lightly technical and modern 4-season mountain shoe, ideal for mountaineering. 

This is the 4-season version of the classic Trango Tower GTX. It retains all its features, adding a front overhang to allow the use of automatic crampons, a slightly higher upper to prevent snow from entering, as well as superior thermal insulation thanks to a 9mm Ibi-Thermo insulating sole and an insulated Gore-Tex.

No heavier than the classic version, it is an extremely light and comfortable shoe thanks to light microfibre and Light PU thermo adhesive inserts.

Its lacing system concept with hooks and thermoplastic coated buckles eliminates seams, reducing internal volume for maximum precision, all while making the shoe more comfortable. The structure and its traditional reinforcements have been replaced by the new Honey-Comb Guard™ construction method: an upper made of fabric with anti-abrasion nylon reinforcements, which are positioned on the parts most prone to abrasion.

The Trango Tower Extreme GTX guarantees maximum waterproofness thanks to its abrasion-resistant waterproof fabric and a lining with Gore-Tex Performance Comfort technology. The thin profiled sole La Sportiva Cube created with Vibram uses a special setting fabric between the sole and the inter-sole, reducing the amount of rubber and thus the overall weight of the shoe. 

This model is compatible with all types of crampons.
