Description

The Stinger III 9.4mm is a single rope from Beal.

It is a lightweight and free-running rope, which has been specially designed for high-level climbers.

The Stinger III 9.4mm has an intermediate diameter, making it very versatile. You can also use it for mountaineering. However, a certain belay technique is required, compared to a thicker rope.

In addition, it features Unicore technology. This welds the core and sheath together, without changing the flexibility characteristics of the rope. This means that if the sheath is cut or torn, the core and sheath remain together.

Beal's Dry Cover technology is applied to the sheath threads and increases abrasion resistance while protecting the rope from moisture. The inclusion of Thermo Fluid offers good manageability and a more compact rope.

The Stinger III 9.4mm is a very versatile single rope.
