The Starling Eco Dry 8,2Mm Night brand's Edelrid is a double and Combined rope ideal for mountaineering.

This dynamic rope benefits from comprehensive treatment ECO DRY, which protects both the sheath and the core against water, dust and mud, ensuring water absorption of less than 2% according to the Standard UIAA Water Repellent. It also features heat THERMO SHIELDtreatment that ensures lasting flexibility by perfectly aligning the fibres to prevent shrinkage and hardening. The system 3D LAP COIL enables ready-to-use skein winding without twisting.

Made from polyamide, this 8.2 mm diameter rope offers an excellent compromise between lightness (45 g/m) and durability. Its mid-marking makes it easier to manage the rope when climbing. Certified according to the Standard EN 892, it has a high fall factor and impact force suitable for Mountaineering requirements.

TREATMENT THERMO SHIELD	This is the basic treatment applied to all strings to ensure their renowned flexibility Edelrid. The treatment involves a thermal process that perfectly aligns the core and sheath wires. A special heat treatment relaxes and then shrinks the fibres of the rope. This harmonises the sliding characteristics of the strands within the rope, making it flexible and compact. The result is the creation of ropes that will not shrink retrospectively or stiffen quickly.
3D LAP COIL	No pre-soaking is necessary before the first use. The ropes with which they are equipped are wound into skeins.
ECO DRY	Complete treatmentEdelrid, which means that both the sheath and the core of the rope are chemically treated to ensure durability against water, dust and mud. Water absorption less than 2% according to the test UIAA Water Repellent.
