| TREATMENT THERMO SHIELD |
This is the basic treatment applied to all strings to ensure their renowned flexibility Edelrid. The treatment involves a thermal process that perfectly aligns the core and sheath wires. A special heat treatment relaxes and then shrinks the fibres of the rope. This harmonises the sliding characteristics of the strands within the rope, making it flexible and compact. The result is the creation of ropes that will not shrink retrospectively or stiffen quickly. |
