The third version of the Ranger GTX, it has been reworked to provide an even more comfortable shoe with an innovative construction which limits the seams and therefore the friction.
The Ranger III GTX is suitable for demanding hikes at medium altitudes where you need a stable boot with good ankle support.
The Ranger III GTX has a very neat leather construction (leather / nubuck 2.2 mm). Its stone guard around the boot provides good protection and longer durability of the boot. Its sole block provides comfortable cushioning that makes uneven ground enjoyable. Its Vibram sole offers good grip whatever the type of ground.
Vibram Natural outsole:
- Moderately deep for trekking
- Strong heel and forefoot profile for better performance up and downhill
- Very good grip and traction on a wide variety of surfaces

- Hard Shank insole:
- Reinforced insole that provides the necessary stability for mountain hiking with large backpacks
Upper technology:
- C4-Tongue: anatomically designed tongue to optimize flexion and comfort and avoid pressure in this area
- Minimal Seams: the number of seams has been adjusted to prevent friction
- 22 Lacing Zone: 2 independent lacing zones, one on the upper and one on the forefoot, allowing individual adjustments and letting the boot adapt to your foot shape
- X-Lacing: patented Lowa technology that secures the tongue vertically and horizontally. This prevents the tongue from slipping and avoids friction and pressure areas.
