It is possible to progress with any type of dynamic rope: a single rope strand, a double rope strand, or a twin rope strand. Single-file roping is almost universally used. Beal chooses the use of a twin rope strand. To make the dynamic performance results of this rope more realistic, Beal has decided to indicate performance closer to its actual use than those of a twin rope tested on 2 strands. Thus, the chosen fall factor is limited to 0.8 but with 80 kg on 1 strand, and the impact force is also measured under these same conditions.
This rope has a diameter of 8 mm and weighs 37 g per metre, making it a compact rope that will be there when you need it! It also features a marking every 12 m to facilitate roping.
