The Vibram® Litebase technology allows a reduction in thickness of approximately 40-50%, from 1.7 mm to 0.5/0.9 mm, depending on the type of sole, resulting in a weight reduction of 25-30%. The substantial reduction in rubber thickness does not compromise sole traction, durability or the risk of laceration.
