From the iconic Népal mountaineering range, the Népal Cube GTX retains the technical qualities of the range while offering an even higher level of thermal performance in an even more lightweight boot.
La Sportiva is modernising its range with this model that incorporates the latest brand developments, with its honeycomb carbon construction and thermal insole coming together to create a very lightweight but warm boot.
The Népal Cube GTX is fitted with Gore-TEX Insulated Comfort lining to guarantee breathability and water-resistance. This boot also features EZ Out technology, a piece of fabric located on the tongue that allows for easier and more accurate tightening.
The 3D Flex System allows for comfortable walking and ankle support on steep terrain. The Vibram sole with Impact Brake System technology provides excellent grip, especially on rocks, both uphill and downhill.
The Népal Cube GTX is the perfect men's boot for 3-season technical mountaineering, including high altitude mountaineering.
The 2019 Nepal model presents a new design with a shoe that is as technical as ever:
°Upper: Hydro Perwanger waterproof leather 3+mm
°Lining: Gore-Tex Insulated Comfort membrane designed to withstand cold temperatures, rainy and snowy conditions. Combines long-lasting waterproofing and breathability with special insulation for use in cold weather. Gore-Tex Insulated Comfort makes the Nepal Cube the ideal mountaineering boot.
° Insole: Carbon Tech honeycomb insulation.
° Midsole: Polyurethane 2mm, crampon-compatible.
° Sole: Vibram with Impact Brake System, easily replaced and fully crampon-compatible.
° Impact Brake System: This innovative system is applied to the sole in order to absorb the negative impact on the ground, stimulate traction on the way up and improve grip on the way down. The unique positioning of the crampons allows as many of them as possible to be in contact with the ground, for optimal impact absorption.
° 3D FLEX SYSTEM: Multidirectional node upper that naturally supports the ankle without compromising stability.
