60 days to change your mindThe Ms Wildfire Edge Mid GTX is a new addition to the Salewa range. It incorporates features found in the low-cut upper Ms Wildfire Edge shoe, but with added protection for winter use. The Ms Wildfire Edge Mid GTX's mid-cut upper will provide better support and the integrated gaiters will provide protection in wet and muddy conditions.
The Wildfire Edge Mid GTX is waterproof and breathable thanks to the Gore-Tex lining. Take to the trails well-protected with this light and effective shoe from Salewa.
Designed to be secure during technical climbs and approaches to climbing routes, the Ms Wildfire Edge combines a mid-cut upper design with the advantages of mountain boots.
Designed with expertise provided by guides and climbers, this shoe's greatest asset is the Switchfit system: when the climb becomes technical and rocky, simply tighten the laces at the rear eyelet. This will push the foot forward into the toebox, compressing your toes in a similar way to a climbing shoe.
Once the climb is finished, loosen the laces at the rear eyelet for a roomier toebox and greater hiking comfort.
There are also a number of Salewa technologies. The Pomoca Speed MTN sole is made from a Butilic compound for excellent grip in both dry and wet weather.
The Exa Shell technology combined with the 3F system ensures flexibility and foot support. The Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) sole adapts to the unique shape of your foot and is equipped with Alpine Fit 100% blister-free guarantee technology.

An outsole with an excellent grip/traction ratio. Whether on wet or dry surfaces, the rubber and Pomoca mix guarantees outstanding grip. The crampon's special construction has been optimised for soft terrains. It's a sole for approaches or active mountain crossings.
- Climbing Lacing:
Provides precise lacing and enhanced support in the toe area, for increased performance on tricky terrain.
- 3F:
Bringing the sole, heel and lacing system together, providing a more accurate fit, and enhanced flexibility and support.
- MFF+:
Two additional components* enable the sole to be adjusted with great accuracy (*delivered separately within the parcel)
- Exa-shell:
Increases precision and keeps the front of the foot in balance. The design also reduces the outer wear of the shoe.
