The Meteor is a climbing, mountaineering and ski touring helmet from Petzl.
The Meteor was already a market reference in terms of lightness and comfort, and is still developing, this version featuring reinforced protection on top and a certification for ski touring.
Thanks to an In-Mold construction mixed with injected EPS foam and a very thin polycarbonate shell, the Meteor weighs only 240g, letting you forget you're even wearing it, all while increasing its level of protection. Polycarbonate protects the inner foam and gives the helmet a very aesthetic look.
This helmet provides perfect ventilation for intensive use in both summer and winter, making sure you don't overheat when the terrain gets steeper.
Petzl has developed the new Meteor so that it now features a Top and Side Protection label, which guarantees better protection from above, but also from the sides, because not all shocks come from above.
The Meteor has been certified as a CE ski touring helmet for even wider use, both in winter and summer.
As for accessories, the Petzl Meteor has a rear elastic band so that you can attach your ski goggles, a size adjustment system that can be used even when wearing gloves, and two hooks to attach your headlamp. Its design means that you can wear ski goggles, because comfort and style are not to be neglected!
