The Kortal Race MIPS is a helmet designed for enduro riding, offering exceptional coverage, excellent ventilation and enhanced protection ( MIPSsystem ). 

This helmet is fitted with the revolutionary new MIPS protection system, developed in partnership with POC. It helps to provide better protection for the brain before, during and after an accident.

A regular helmet simply protects the skull from impact, whereas a MIPS helmet also protects what’s inside it – that is, the brain – thanks to a lining that allows movement between the head and the helmet. Furthermore, the MIPS system absorbs the energy of the impact, thereby significantly reducing the force of the blow. 

To ensure even greater security, the Kortal Race MIPS is fitted with a ®RECCO reflector to help locate you in the event of an accident, and an NFC medical identification chip that stores the rider’s vital information to enable more effective rescue efforts. 

It features an adjustable visor/peak that can be raised to the top of the helmet so you can wear glasses; it can even be detached. You’ll love this helmet for its practicality; you can also tuck your glasses into the rear ventilation opening, which helps keep you cooler during ascents. 

The adjustable visor/peak helps to reduce the impact on the neck in the event of an accident, but it is also very practical for protecting against the elements, such as the sun, rain or mud.

Finally, the helmet Kortal Race MIPS  is certified to the Dutch NTA 8776 standard for electric bike helmets, which is designed for high-speed e-bikes; it is the most stringent safety standard. It ensures enhanced protection and improved durability for high-speed impacts. A helmet that meets the NTA 8776 standard absorbs 43% more impact energy.
