It is the ideal shoe for those who want to make a transition from road to trail running. They are very versatile and adapt to all foot shapes and all levels.
In terms of fit, the new Sock-Fit LW sock construction makes the shoe very adaptable to all foot types. The tongue, flex point and collar are made from a single piece of elasticated S-TECH SCHOELLER, technical fabric, so you'll feel like you're at one with your shoe.
Its seamless upper is lightweight and breathable, not to mention its microfibre design which manages moisture very well. The Golden Gate 2 is easy to put on, thanks to its collar and integrated tongue which facilitates the entry of the foot.
The midsole features the I-Respond cushioning system which improves the push-off phase by boosting energy input to improve energy return. In the midsole, Scarpa has provided the Golden Gate 2 with a Bounce Foamsole, made up of 4mm Super Gum studs, for a more elastic response. Finally, the insole is made exclusively from Presa® for unrivalled comfort.
The Golden Gate 2 is ideal for those who are new to trail running and are looking for a reliable, comfortable shoe to use for their day-to-day training.
