It is a shoe that is ideal for high altitude mountaineering and ice climbing. Very technical, it has been studied in every detail to offer you the best balance among modern technologies
The G5 Evo brings the lightness of a single-shelled shoe with the same insulating characteristics as a double-shelled shoe. The Cordura outer shell will give you waterproofness, fit and good protection thanks to the rising boots. The inner shell consists of 4 layers for better thermal insulation.
This waterproof boot is practical and quick to put on thanks to its tightening Boa Fit System which is very easy to adjust, even with gloves! Thanks to its customisable cuff closure that prevents snow and ice from entering the shoe and its construction in quick-drying materials, the G5 Evo keeps your feet dry in all conditions.
In addition, the G5 Evo is equipped with a Gore-Tex membrane that wraps the front part of the foot to guarantee very good waterproofing and better insulation. This protects the toes in particular to allow the shoe to be used even in static situations.
A protective edge also surrounds the bottom of the shoe for even more insulation and to protect you from impacts.
In the sole area, the G5 Evo is equipped with a removable thermal insole and a shock-absorbing midsole. Its Vibram outsole makes the shoe particularly stable and offers better cushioning and an irreproachable grip
The G5 Evo is a fully cramponable shoe so that you can adapt your grip. The soles are of different thicknesses at the toe and heel to make it easier to attach the studs
