The Fireflash is made from 610g of Russian Goose Down. This provides maximum protection against the cold at a weight of only 950g thanks to its filling power of 900 cuin. The quality of the down is approved by the Down Codex programme, attesting to the performance of the down, as well as the welfare and treatment of the animals.
To retain the heat generated by your body, Mountain Equipment has added shields to the collar to ensure optimal insulation. At the feet, the same deflector system maximises the thermal efficiency, which is essential in the most hostile environments.
