The Cloudrock Waterproof 2 is a women's speed-hiking shoe from On Running.

The swiss brand On Running, well known to runners and trail-runners alike, is diversifying with the Cloudrock 2 Waterproof. This is the evolution of the Cloudrock. The shoe has a mid-rise upper designed for hiking. But not just any hiking - this boot is designed for speed-hiking! The brand clearly recognises and makes use of the features that made its running model so successful, and as a result is offering a Speed Hiking shoe with a balance of lightness, comfort, and high-flying dynamism.

The Cloudrock Waterproof 2 features an all-new Missiongrip™ rubber compound that will give you much better traction in both wet and dry conditions. Inspired by the Cloudventure 3, the Cloudrock 2 Waterproof features a closed midsole channel, which will prevent you from getting stones stuck in it, while still retaining excellent lightness and agility.

In terms of the sole, the famous Cloudtec® "clouds" offer the usual exceptional cushioning, and are guaranteed to provide unrivalled comfort, even after hundreds of kilometres. The sole block features the Speedboard plate that stabilises your gait and propels you forward, making you accelerate.

The upper has a waterproof and breathable membrane to keep your feet dry in all conditions. The construction of the upper is still very light like the other models from the brand, while still offering increased protection with a small stone guard at the front of the foot.
