Clepsydra S Twingate

The Grivel isClepsydra S a double-gate carabiner with a mixed gate (solid and wire) ideal for belaying with a descender.

Its locking systemTwin Gateis secured by two opposing pins, one solid and the other wire, thus providing high security Clepsydra S by preventing most risks of accidental opening. 

Grivel has developed this carabiner in which a second locking wire separates the service ring, allowing it to remain closed even when the carabiner is opened. In addition, the base of the carabiner is wide enough and rounded enough for the rope on descents and abseils.

Warm forged in Italy in the mountains of Val d'Aosta, individually tested by Grivel.
