Ange Red

The Ange Red is an automatic locking carabiner from the brand Petzl , sold individually.

This carabiner stands out for its H-shaped profile, which optimizes the balance between lightness and durability, making it ideal for demanding climbers. Its asymmetrical shape ensures optimal load distribution, making it versatile for use with harnesses, lanyards and anchor points. The single-wire design ensures smooth opening and high durability, whilst the opening at the front effectively clears away ice, snow or gravel for enhanced security. The system Keylock prevents accidental snagging on the gear holder, anchor or rope.

Made from aluminium, the Ange Red provides a large contact surface with the rope and the anchor point for increased durability. Its flat back provides optimum stability when held in the hand or when clipping with a carabiner. UIAACertified CE EN 12275 to type B standards, it has a durability of 20 kN along the major axis, 7 kN along the small axis and 8 kN with the jaw open, ensuring maximum security during your climbs.
