The Air Force 3 belay device is compatible with all ropes: single, double and twin.
It has 2 V-shaped grooves allowing it to give slack easily, while offering effective braking control to optimize energy absorption when stopping the leader's fall. The 2 wide and smooth grooves prevent it rubbing on the corners.
The small insert hole allows the rope to be released even when under tension.
If the user feels that with the rope, braking is too important, he can reverse the direction of use of his Air Force 3.
