Description

The Absolute Mitts Black brand's Black Diamond are unisex mittens, designed specifically for expeditions in extreme cold.

Lightweight and compressible, these mittens are made with a new waterproof and breathable membrane GORE-TEX ePE for optimal protection against the elements. They also feature a removable inner glove liner with insulation PrimaLoft® Kodenshi lined with high-density fleece fibres. This ensures excellent thermal insulation whilst wicking away moisture quickly, and the outer Pertex Quantum® fabric offers good abrasion resistance. Finally, the palms reinforced with goat leather and featuring stitching Kevlar® provide a secure grip and excellent durability.

PRIMALOFT®	This alternative to natural down guarantees the perfect balance between providing warmth and retaining the heat generated by the body during physical activity. It effectively wicks away moisture from the body and offers ideal breathability for any strenuous activity. Extremely lightweight and highly compressible, this material has the unique property of retaining its qualities even when wet.
PERTEX QUANTUM®	Precision manufacturing ensures these fabrics Pertex® Quantum are crafted from incredibly fine threads, which are designed to trap still air and enhance the insulation’s effectiveness. This fabric is lightweight, soft and extremely compressible. A durable water-repellent (DWR) finish repels light rain and snow to provide extra protection against the elements.
