8.0 Alpine Core Protect Dry Rope Fire/Halo

The double rope 8.0 Alpine Core Protect Dry Rope Fire/Halo is one of the brand's Mammut for mountaineering and climbing.

Particularly resistant to abrasion and cuts, this rope has been treated to make it waterproof Dry waterproof (less than 2% water absorption). This treatment also makes it dirt-resistant, for maximum safety in difficult conditions.

To further protect the rope from edges, rocks and other metals, an additional aramid sheath has been placed between the outer polyamide sheath and the core of the rope. This means that, in the event of a fall, the inner sheath unfolds thanks to its very long construction. The string behaves dynamically, like all strings Mammut.
